Excavator Operator — Job Responsibilities

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently at construction sites.
• Perform excavation, digging, trenching, grading, and earthmoving activities.
• Load and move soil, sand, gravel, rocks, and construction materials.
• Operate different attachments such as buckets, breakers, and hydraulic tools as required.
• Follow drawings, site plans, and instructions from the site supervisor or foreman.
• Check ground conditions and ensure safe operation around underground utilities and structures.
• Perform daily pre-start inspections and check hydraulic systems, engine oil, coolant, tracks, and attachments.
• Carry out basic cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance.
• Report equipment defects, breakdowns, and safety hazards immediately.
• Coordinate with surveyors, truck drivers, banksmen, and other heavy-equipment operators.
• Maintain safe working distances from workers, vehicles, buildings, and other machinery.
• Ensure proper loading and placement of excavated materials.
• Follow site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain equipment and operation records when required.
• Complete assigned work efficiently while meeting project quality and productivity requirements.

Pay: AED1,724.81 - AED3,903.50 per month
