Excavator Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, mainly excavators and skid steers. The Excavator Operator will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient completion of construction tasks, utilizing their mechanical knowledge and expertise in heavy equipment operation. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of Caterpillar machinery and be capable of working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently across multiple construction sites, including tasks such as digging, trenching, and material handling
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and work performed

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating excavators
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• valid drivers license and vehicle
• Strong understanding of safety standards in heavy equipment operation
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads as needed
• be willing to get out of machines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
