Excavator Operator

Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. Duties

• Matting blasts
• Road building
• Support drilling and blasting operations however necessary.
• Operate excavators safely and efficiently across diverse construction sites.
• Conduct daily inspections of excavators to identify mechanical issues and report issues promptly.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to execute excavation plans according to project specifications and safety protocols.

Experience

• Experience operating an excavator with a drilling and blasting crew is an asset. (matting blasts, etc)
• Experience operating a John Deere 350 or a CAT 336 is an asset.
• Proven experience operating excavators in a construction environment with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures to promote a secure work environment.

Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 – 55.0 per week
