KZ Construction, a growing underground utilities & grading contractor, is looking for an excavator operator for existing and upcoming work. Requirements for Employment:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Follow company and OSHA rules and safety procedures
• Work well with others in a team environment
• Open minded with a willingness to learn and adapt to changes of jobsite conditions
• Willingness to work overtime
• Occasional out of town work - Optional
• Travel work offers a 25% increase over base pay
• Guaranteed 40hr a week.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Excavators are all recent model year John Deere and are upfitted with a combination of Topcon GPS and Engcon tiltrotators. Experience with these systems is not required, training will be provided.
• Assist with backfill and cleanup procedures following the pipe crew utilizing compaction wheels and the tiltrotator system
• Dig and install sanitary sewer mains/laterals, stormwater, underground electric conduit, and water mains/services
• Most work is being done in new residential developments
• Running a mini excavator doing backfill & compaction utilizing hydraulic plate compactors, wheeled compactors, and Engcon tilt rotator system
• Willing and able to work in various working conditions
• Daily site and equipment cleanup & maintenance

Pay depends on experience and abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
