Excavator Operator- Pipe

Job Overview

Safely operate excavators for underground utilities: storm, sanitary, and water pipe installation

• Excavate trenches to required line, grade, and depth
• Work closely with pipe crews to ensure accurate installation
• Perform fine grading and trenching around existing utilities
• Assist with other duties as assigned
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site

Required Qualifications

• Experience operating excavator for underground utilities
• Experience with storm drain, sanitary sewer, and/or water main systems
• Strong knowledge of trench safety and utility work
• Experience in setting & working in Trench Box
