Excavator Operator / Sitework

Overview

We're hiring excavator operators who know how to work as part of a crew — not just sit in the cab.

We're a Las Vegas civil and grading contractor running large-scale dirt work, including mass grading, blasting, crushing, hauling, underground work, and site development. We're looking for an experienced excavator operator who can safely and efficiently handle production work while helping the crew wherever needed.

If you can run an excavator but aren't willing to get out of the cab to check grade, help with stakes, spot, clean up, or assist the crew when needed, this probably isn't the right fit. We'd rather tell you now.

If you're the type of operator who sees what needs to be done and gets it done, we pay top market rates to find people like you — and we pay to keep them.

What the job looks like

• Operating excavators for grading, excavation, trenching, loading, and general sitework
• Working safely and efficiently around crews, utilities, trucks, and other equipment
• Getting out of the cab when needed for grade checking, spotting, hand work, cleanup, and crew support
• Reading civil plans, grades, stakes, and layout information and speaking up when field conditions don't match the plans
• Performing daily pre-trip inspections and taking care of assigned equipment

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of excavator experience in civil construction, grading, excavation, or sitework
• Strong understanding of grades, excavation, and working around underground utilities
• Willingness to help outside the machine when the job requires it
• Dependable — shows up on time, every day
• Valid driver's license
• Class A or B CDL is a plus
• OSHA 10 is a plus; we'll cover it if you don't have it
