Excel Accounting Workbook Security Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Excel specialist to secure and protect an accounting workbook.

Project Requirements:

• Lock all accounting formulas and calculation cells.
• Keep designated data-entry cells editable.
• Protect worksheets from unauthorized changes.
• Hide formulas where appropriate.
• Protect the workbook structure from unauthorized changes.
• Ensure authorized users can continue entering accounting data without affecting formulas.
• Review the workbook for formulas that could accidentally be overwritten.
• Set up clear instructions for authorized users to make future formula changes when necessary.

Preferred Experience:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Financial/accounting spreadsheets
• Excel workbook and worksheet protection
• Formula security
• VBA/macros if needed
• Experience working with business accounting workbooks

The completed workbook must be tested to confirm that regular users cannot modify protected formulas while authorized users retain the necessary access.
