Excel Specialist

Our client, a leading construction company based in VI, Lagos, is currently seeking an Excel Specialist to design, build, and maintain advanced spreadsheets, automated workflows, and dynamic dashboards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform raw, unstructured data into clear, actionable business insights.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain complex, error-free spreadsheets, workbooks, and reporting templates.
• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful trends, and build interactive dashboards, charts, and graphs for stakeholders.
• Automate repetitive daily and weekly tasks using Macros, VBA scripting, Power Query, or Power Pivot.
• Clean, validate, and integrity-check raw data sources to ensure high accuracy and consistency across reports.
• Partner with departments such as finance, HR, marketing, or operations to gather data requirements and troubleshoot spreadsheet issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's / HND in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Expert-level knowledge of advanced Excel formulas (e.g., XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, nested logical functions).
• Proficiency in Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Slicers, and conditional formatting.
• Experience with VBA / Macros and data-shaping tools like Power Query.
• Familiarity with data visualization principles and dashboard design.
