Exclusion specialist/ construction experience preferred

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Exclusion Specialist to join our team and help safeguard properties from unwanted pests and intrusions. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify entry points and potential pest access routes
• Install exclusion devices such as screens, barriers, seals, and other physical deterrents to block pest entry
• Utilize ladders, hand tools, power tools, and confined space entry techniques safely to access hard-to-reach areas, working on a roof experience.
• Apply chemical agents responsibly when necessary for pest deterrence, adhering strictly to pesticide management guidelines
• Follow all safety protocols including respiratory protection, ladder safety procedures, and confined space entry safety procedures
• Maintain detailed records of exclusion activities, materials used, and site conditions for each job
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining exclusion strategies and addressing client concerns professionally

Requirements

• Proven experience in outdoor work environments such as farming, landscaping, or agriculture preferred
• Knowledge of pest control chemical handling and pesticide application techniques
• Familiarity with integrated pest management principles and pest control best practices
• Mechanical knowledge related to the use of hand tools and power tools for installation tasks
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly in various outdoor settings
• Strong understanding of ladder use and ladder safety procedures for working at heights
• Knowledge of confined space entry safety procedures is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
• Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols including respiratory protection requirements
• Relevant experience in land management or pest exclusion roles is advantageous
