Excutive Import documentation ( freight forwarding )

Position: Executive Import Documentation & Operation Freight Forwarding

• Prepare and review import documents, including bills of lading, arrival notices, delivery orders, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs documents.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, customs brokers, transport providers, and customers to collect shipment information and required documents.
• Track shipment arrivals, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery schedules.
• Verify document accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Submit documents and shipment information to customs brokers or relevant authorities to support customs clearance.
• Arrange delivery orders, cargo release, and onward transportation as required.
• Update shipment records and operational systems, and maintain well-organized files.
• Monitor shipment milestones and notify customers and internal teams of delays or schedule changes.
• Review freight, handling, and documentation charges, and assist with billing and invoice follow-up.
• Follow company procedures and applicable customs, trade, and compliance requirements.
• Arrange transportation for imported cargo, coordinating with transport providers to ensure timely pickup and delivery

Qualifications and experience

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, commerce, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in import freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or customs documentation preferred.
• Familiarity with import documentation and customs clearance procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with freight forwarding or shipment-tracking systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
