Execution Trader – Leading Systematic Hedge Fund

We are partnered with a leading global systematic hedge fund looking to hire an Execution Trader for its London trading team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded systematic equities business, working closely with quantitative traders and researchers to oversee live trading strategies and optimise execution performance.

The Role

• Monitor live systematic trading strategies across cash equities, Delta One, equity index futures and index arbitrage.
• Oversee execution activity, adjusting trading parameters where required to improve performance.
• Work closely with quantitative traders and researchers to identify opportunities for execution optimisation.
• Contribute to execution research and improvements in trading processes and systems.

Requirements

• Experience in electronic trading, algorithmic execution or quantitative trading, ideally within an investment bank, broker or systematic trading firm.
• Strong understanding of equity markets, electronic execution and market microstructure.
• Experience monitoring live trading activity or automated execution strategies.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and an interest in execution optimisation.
