On behalf of a prestigious, high-profile private educational institution, Thekna-IT is seeking an Executive Academic Director to lead the pedagogical vision, operational excellence, and strategic positioning of the organization.

Position Objective

Lead the global academic strategy and the holistic development of the educational community, ensuring the highest standards of pedagogical quality, student retention, and exceptional service management tailored to high-profile families.

Professional Profile

• Experience: 5 to 8 years in executive leadership roles within prestigious private educational institutions.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Pedagogy, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields. Master’s degree preferred.
• Language Proficiency: Advanced executive-level fluency in both English and French ( required ).
• Leadership & Management: Proven track record in directing, mentoring, and developing teaching faculty, academic coordinators, and administrative staff.
• Relational Competencies: Executive presence, diplomacy, emotional intelligence, and strong conflict-resolution skills when engaging with demanding parents and stakeholders.
• Strategic Vision: Strong command of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to academic excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and enrollment retention.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Pedagogical Innovation: Design, evaluate, and implement the institutional academic curriculum and continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Institutional Representation: Serve as the primary executive liaison to families, the school community, and the Board of Directors.
3. Growth & Retention: Develop and execute strategies aimed at student recruitment, satisfaction, and long-term retention.
4. Talent Leadership: Foster a high-performance organizational culture, promote workplace well-being, and drive continuous professional development for the team.
5. Governance & Accountability: Prepare and present qualitative, quantitative, and strategic progress reports to General Management and the Board of Directors.
