Executive - Account (Payable)

About the role
We are looking for an Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. You will manage accounts payable and support daily accounting operations in a manufacturing environment. This role suits a detail-oriented person who takes pride in keeping financial records accurate and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and support daily accounting operations to make sure payments are accurate, on time and follow company policies.
• Enter invoices from suppliers and service providers into the system.
• Reconcile the AP Aging report against Statements of Account (SOA) before making payments.
• Keep proper supplier records in line with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Carry out intercompany reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and work with internal teams and counterparties to resolve them.
• Support month-end closing by clearing suspense account balances, processing back charges and making sure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Make sure all records meet SST, Withholding Tax and other applicable local tax requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Finance or Accountancy from a recognized institution
• At least 2 years of experience in financial reporting, costing or accounting
• Within the manufacturing industry is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience using the Oracle system is an advantage
