EXECUTIVE, ACCOUNTS (6 months contract)

Flex Fleet Sdn Bhd is a Kuala Lumpur-based manager of offshore “FLEX” crewboats that are designed and built by Penguin Shipyard International in Singapore.

The business of operating a fleet of high-performance vessels requires a dedicated team of ship management professionals with specialized skill sets.

We are seeking suitable candidates to join us in the following vocation:

EXECUTIVE, ACCOUNTS

Reporting to the Accountant, you shall be an integral member of Flex Fleet’s ship management team in Kuala Lumpur, which manages a fleet of modern high-speed crew boats. Your key responsibilities shall include:

• Reports directly to the Accountant and the General Manager on matters of finance and accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial/management/cash flow reports.
• Able to handle Accounts Payable closing and Bank Reconciliation.
• Provide monthly analysis and interpretation of financial results/performance.
• Develop and implement internal financial controls and policies/procedures.
• Liaise with external auditors, company secretaries, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities.
• Actively support and take part in all HSE matters according to company policy.

Requirement:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
• Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
• Experience in finance or accounting (1–3 years) is an advantage.
• Experience with WORKDAY is an additional advantage.
• Expected skill sets include proficiency in English (both spoken and written), effective communication skills, and proficiency in relevant Microsoft Office programs.
• A proactive 'can-do' attitude, the ability to work effectively in a team, and demonstrated integrity in a fast-paced environment are essential.
• Resourcefulness, self-motivation, proactivity, and independence are valued traits in candidates.
• Strong professional ethics and a sense of responsibility are required attributes.
