The DAV Group - Chennai, was established in 1970 at Gopalapuram in Chennai with just 50 students. The Group today, caters to over 40,000 students across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. It has a staff of 2000 plus which includes 1,700 teachers. Four of our branches have been consistently ranked amongst top 15 schools in the country.

In addition to K-12 schooling, DAV has recently ventured into Higher Education with DAV-SMK Fomra College of Arts Science at Kelambakkam, Chennai.

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare financial statements, reports and MIS.
• Handle bank reconciliation and cash flow management.
• Manage statutory compliances including TDS, GST, PF, ESI and other filings.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and other departments.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance.
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and coordinate effectively.
