Executive, Air Freight Gateway Operations Export

Working location: Kwai Hing (sometimes need to work at CFS / CTO)

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the handling of general/special cargo shipments.
• Review handling requirements and issue operational instructions to airlines, warehouse operators, ground handlers, transport providers, and relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with IATA regulations, aviation security requirements, customs regulations, airline handling procedures, and DHL operational standards.
• Verify permits, licenses, declarations, certificates, and supporting documentation required for shipment movement.
• Liaise with internal operational teams, airlines, cargo terminal operators, customs brokers, government authorities, and customers to ensure smooth cargo execution.
• Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve operational issues, delays, damages, shortages, or compliance exceptions.
• Investigate operational irregularities, prepare incident reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, quality reviews, and compliance assessments.
• Contribute to process improvement, digitalization initiatives, operational efficiency programs, and implementation of new procedures and regulations.
• Maintain accurate operational records and management reports.

Requirements

• Degree or above or qualification equivalent to Level 4 of Qualifications Framework (QF)
• Preferably with 3-4 years relevant experience in logistics industry.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Experience in handling Dangerous Goods, Temperature-Controlled, Valuable, or Compliance-controlled cargo is an advantage.
• Proficient in PC operations, e.g. MS Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Remarks: Less experience will be considered as Senior Coordinator
