The Opportunity:
Join a purpose-driven aged care organisation where your work directly supports the people and teams making a difference in the community. With more than 30 years of experience supporting older Australians across residential, community and in-home care, this established not-for-profit organisation is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide trusted support to the CEO and Board.
This is a varied role suited to someone who thrives on organisation, professionalism and attention to detail. You'll play an important part in keeping executive and governance functions running smoothly, including coordinating Board and Committee activities, preparing high-quality documentation, maintaining corporate records and supporting broader administrative and office requirements.
This is a 12-month contract, offering 3 days per week with a competitive salary and other additional benefits!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the Board, CEO and Managers.
- Prepare Board and Committee agendas, reports and minutes, and coordinate meetings and events.
- Manage Association membership, including applications, registers and member records.
- Coordinate corporate administration, including purchasing, central filing and general office support.
- Manage internal and external communications, including newsletters, website, intranet, social media and the Annual Report.
- Maintain administrative systems and staff access, including key personnel details and third-party platforms such as MyGov, PRODA and My Aged Care.
- Coordinate Waratah House operations, including room bookings, maintenance requests and general office requirements.
Why you're the perfect candidate:
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with strong proficiency across Word, Excel, Outlook and other relevant applications.
- Previous experience in a comparable administrative or executive support role, ideally within a professional or community-focused environment.
- Strong organisational and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality correspondence, reports and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage competing demands, consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy in a busy environment.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional, approachable and respectful manner when engaging with colleagues, stakeholders and the broader community.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach, with the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Current and clear Police Check and NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain the required clearances.
