What they need

Executive Assistant to the CEO

Full-time Remote $50,000–$70,000 based on experience

Bring your ambition. Make the details count.

If you’re the person who catches the missed detail, makes the plan, and follows through, we’d like to meet you. At Savance, you’ll work directly with our founder and CEO, gain a close-up view of how a technology company operates, and build skills that can grow with your career.

We’re looking for someone who brings a strong foundation in organization and communication, takes pride in getting things right, and is eager to take on more responsibility. You’ll help turn ideas into action and make it easier for the CEO and the team to focus on what matters most.

WHY BUILD YOUR CAREER AT SAVANCE?

A small team where you matter. Build relationships across the company, contribute ideas, and see the impact of your work. We value teammates who help each other, celebrate wins, and take shared success personally.

Access, ownership, and real business exposure. Work directly with leadership and coordinate with sales, marketing, development, customer success, accounting, and HR. You’ll have room to improve how work gets done and a voice in the process without layers of red tape.

A proven example of growth. Savance’s first Executive Assistant advanced into our Chief of Staff & Operations role. This position offers the opportunity to develop executive support, project coordination, and business operations skills, with increasing responsibility as you build trust and deliver results. Future advancement depends on performance and business needs.

WORKING WITH THE CEO

Steve, Savance’s founder and CEO, is highly driven, hands-on, and detail-oriented. He sets high standards for himself and the people around him. You’ll work best together if you prepare thoroughly, check your work, communicate directly, and follow through without repeated reminders.

Expect a fast pace, changing priorities, and specific feedback. You’ll need to ask thoughtful questions, clarify what matters most, and flag concerns early. When something goes wrong, take ownership, communicate it, and improve the process. Success means becoming a trusted partner who anticipates needs and keeps commitments moving.

ABOUT SAVANCE

Savance is a fast-paced, dynamic, challenging, and demanding environment; and also a fun and rewarding place to work. We thrive as a team and are always looking for the people who are the right fit and have the right attitude to bring even greater success and camaraderie to the table. To excel at Savance, you must love to be challenged, seek out opportunities to develop your skills, be confident yet humble, and be able to learn from your mistakes. We thrive working alongside smart, independent, and self-motivated people who get along well with others. If you have a can-do attitude and seek a challenging, rewarding position with a great team, Savance is the place for you!

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Inbox and communication: Organize the CEO’s email, surface decisions and urgent matters, draft clear responses, and track follow-ups so important conversations keep moving.

Calendar and preparation: Manage scheduling, competing priorities, and meeting logistics. Check dates, time zones, attendees, links, and materials; protect time for focused work.

Meeting follow-through: Review recordings and transcripts, capture decisions, and translate discussions into action items with clear owners, deadlines, and next steps.

Projects and accountability: Turn broad ideas into practical plans. Coordinate across departments, follow up respectfully, keep task records current, and flag delays or missing decisions early.

Research and executive materials: Gather reliable information and prepare concise summaries, reports, presentations, and documents. Verify accuracy and make the next decision or action clear.

Better systems: Improve recurring workflows, documentation, and task tracking. Learn productivity and AI tools to work efficiently while checking outputs and protecting confidential information.

Special projects: Take on assignments that increase the CEO’s effectiveness and support company priorities, with sound judgment about when to act independently and when to ask for direction.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED

Attention to detail you can demonstrate: You check names, numbers, dates, formatting, and instructions before work goes out, and use systems to prevent repeat mistakes.

Reliable organization and follow-through: You manage multiple priorities, keep track of commitments, and adjust your plan when circumstances change.

Clear, professional communication and discretion: You write well, handle sensitive information carefully, and build respectful relationships across the team.

Initiative and judgment: You anticipate needs, research solutions, ask focused questions, and know when an issue needs the CEO’s attention.

Ambition and coachability: You welcome specific feedback, learn quickly, and want to earn greater responsibility through consistent, high-quality work.

EXPERIENCE & WORK EXPECTATIONS

Relevant administrative, coordination, project support, or operations experience is valuable; prior CEO support experience is a plus. We welcome candidates building on an existing foundation of skills—you don’t need a long executive assistant career to be considered. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

You should be comfortable with Google Workspace and learning new business tools. This is a full-time remote role requiring independent organization, dependable availability, occasional travel for events or training, and occasional flexibility outside traditional business hours for urgent priorities.
