Since 1979, Legal Aid NSW has provided legal advice, support and representation in criminal, family and civil law, helping people across NSW navigate hardship and complex legal issues. Our work is challenging, but deeply meaningful.

About the Role

As the Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Executive Director and Director, Client Service Division, ensuring the effective coordination of business operations, divisional priorities and confidential matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide confidential executive support, including diary, correspondence and travel management.
  • Coordinate meetings, events and divisional activities, preparing agendas, minutes, briefings and presentations.
  • Draft and manage executive communications, including reports and divisional newsletters.
  • Gather and coordinate information to support decision-making, planning and business operations.
  • Maintain and improve administrative systems, records and processes to support efficient service delivery.
  • Provide administrative support for financial and procurement processes, including purchase orders, invoicing and travel arrangements.

About You

You are a highly organised and proactive professional who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys providing high-level support to senior executives. With strong communication and stakeholder management skills, you can effectively manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgement and handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.

Your ability to coordinate multiple activities, manage complex administrative processes, and maintain efficient systems and procedures will enable you to succeed in this pivotal role supporting the Executive Director and Director, Client Service Division.
