Executive assistant - Engineering Sales

About the role

You will work directly with the Managing Director, helping develop sales opportunities, coordinate follow-ups and support day-to-day business activities. Performance bonuses available on top of salary.

Key responsibilities

• Research prospective customers, industries and sales opportunities
• Identify relevant purchasing, engineering and maintenance contacts
• Assist with preparing quotations, proposals and sales presentations
• Follow up customers, enquiries, quotations and outstanding actions
• Make introductory and follow-up calls to prospective customers
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in our CRM
• Prepare emails, reports, spreadsheets and technical documents
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, reminders and travel arrangements
• Communicate with customers, suppliers and internal staff
• Assist the Managing Director with special projects and administration

About you

• Engineering, materials science or manufacturing-related qualification or experience
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Confident speaking with customers by telephone and video call
• Previous B2B sales, sales support or customer-service experience
• Able to understand technical products and manufacturing processes
• Strong research, organisation and follow-up skills
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and CRM systems
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
