Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) – Hotel Operations

Key Responsibilities

Hotel Operations Leadership

• Oversee the daily operations of multiple hotel departments.
• Ensure smooth operational execution and exceptional service delivery.
• Drive operational efficiency and maintain high hospitality standards.

Financial & Business Performance

• Monitor departmental performance, budgets, and profitability.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and revenue performance.
• Support strategic business planning and operational improvements.

Guest Experience

• Champion outstanding guest service and customer satisfaction.
• Manage service quality initiatives and operational enhancements.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery effectively.

People Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop department heads and operational teams.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support talent development and succession planning initiatives.

Operational Governance

• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and hospitality standards.
• Monitor service quality, safety, and operational controls.
• Drive continuous improvement across all operational functions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a Marriott-branded hotel environment.
• Strong background in hotel operations management and senior leadership.
• Proven experience managing multiple operational departments.
• Strong exposure to guest experience, financial management, people management, and operational excellence.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and results-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to be based in Penang, Malaysia.
