Position Overview
This is a role at a fast-growing NASDAQ-listed company with operations spanning Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. You will work side-by-side with the Board Secretary and the Chairman & CEO’s office on corporate actions, regulatory filings, financial documentation and priority projects that shape how the company is run.
If you are sharp, precise and thrive in complexity — and want a front-row seat to multi-jurisdictional listed company governance and deal-related work — this role offers real exposure, variety and growth.
Job Description
1. Corporate Actions & Compliance
- Support the full spectrum of corporate governance compliance, including statutory filings and close coordination with external counsel across Cayman, US, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
- Own document trails, version control and filing discipline for governance and corporate action materials — accuracy and organisation matter here.
- Play a hands-on role in compiling, reviewing and coordinating SEC filings (6-K, 20-F and related exhibits) and other regulatory submissions.
- Support corporate actions and related documentation — facility agreements, share-related matters and the follow-through that keeps everything tight.
2. Financial Document Support & Presentation Work
- Review financial statements, management accounts and operational reports — and extract the points that matter.
- Prepare clear, professional PowerPoint presentations, briefing packs and summary materials that senior management actually rely on.
- Turn complex financial and operational data into concise, accurate formats that drive decisions.
3. Ad-hoc Projects & Business Support
- Provide flexible, high-quality support on priority initiatives — subsidiary operations, compliance checks, licensing, banking documentation and other special projects as they arise.
- Business Development and Business Operations Participation
- Business Models, feasibility studies
- Coordinate internal information gathering, prepare sharp briefing notes, track action items and follow through with stakeholders.
- Handle time-sensitive, cross-functional requests with accuracy and composure — this is where reliability is noticed.
4. CEO Office Operations
- Keep document workflows and information flow within the CEO Office running smoothly.
- Draft, proofread and format correspondence, reports and internal communications to a consistently high standard.
- Step up on other duties as needed to support the Board Secretary / Assistant to the Chairman & CEO.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience — ideally in an Executive Assistant, legal/compliance support, finance support or executive office environment. Listed company or multi-jurisdictional exposure is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine commitment to accuracy — non-negotiable given the governance and regulatory nature of the work.
- Agile and adaptable: able to manage multiple concurrent tasks, shifting priorities and ad-hoc requests calmly and effectively.
- Ability to read and understand financial statements and financial information.
- Proven ability to prepare clear, professional PowerPoint presentations and summary materials that senior stakeholders value.
- Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to draft precise, professional documents. Chinese language ability (Simplified and/or Traditional) is highly valued.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office — particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint — with strong document management discipline.
- High level of discretion, integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- Self-starter with strong organisational skills — able to work independently while knowing exactly when to escalate.
