About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on professional to work directly with the Director and support the organization’s Projects and Operations function. This is not a conventional Personal Assistant role. The position is intended for a management professional who can independently handle projects, operational matters, cross-functional coordination and management follow-ups, while acting as a key execution partner to the Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Director on strategic, operational and project-related priorities.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and drive them from planning through execution and closure.
• Coordinate with manufacturing plants, project sites and corporate departments to ensure timely execution.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, manpower, resources and critical dependencies.
• Handle operational issues independently, identify root causes and escalate matters to the Director with facts and practical proposed solutions.
• Coordinate with senior management, clients, contractors, vendors and internal teams for smooth execution.
• Prepare MIS reports, management presentations, dashboards and periodic project/operations updates.
• Track management decisions, action points, deadlines and follow-ups to ensure timely closure.
• Support business analysis, performance review and management decision-making with relevant data and insights.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with concerned departments and stakeholders and ensure accountability for assigned actions.
• Travel extensively to manufacturing plants and project sites as required.

Candidate Profile

• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in project management, operations or industrial project execution.
• Prior experience handling projects or operations independently with demonstrated ownership and accountability.
• Experience in steel manufacturing, MS pipe manufacturing, structural steel fabrication, erection or related industrial projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with senior management and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel extensively to plants and project sites.

• Industrial Project Management / Execution professional

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• MBA in Operations / Project Management will be an added advantage.
