Executive Assistant to President (ASEAN Business Development)

About the role

We are seeking a highly driven, commercially minded and capable Executive Assistant to the President to support the President in managing and coordinating business activities, with a strong focus on sales, business development and market expansion across ASEAN countries. This is a business-facing role, not limited to administrative support. The successful candidate will work closely with the President on market research, business development, customer engagement, sales activities and regional expansion initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with the President to manage and coordinate business and commercial matters
• Support the President in developing and implementing sales and business development strategies across ASEAN markets
• Conduct market surveys and research in different countries to identify market trends, competitors, customer needs and potential business opportunities
• Identify and develop new customers, distributors, agents and business partners
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, negotiations and follow-up activities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners
• Explore new markets, sales channels and business opportunities
• Monitor market developments, competitor activities and pricing trends and provide recommendations to the President
• Prepare market research reports, business proposals, presentations and management reports
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives and follow-up actions

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, International Business, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing or business development, preferably in the curtain wall, building materials, construction or architectural products industry
• Strong experience and exposure in ASEAN markets is highly preferred
• Proven track record in developing new customers, markets or business opportunities
• Strong commercial awareness with good market research and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Good command of Mandarin and English. Mandarin proficiency is preferred for effective communication with the President and business partners
• Willing to travel frequently within ASEAN and other countries
• Independent, proactive, resourceful and able to work with minimal supervision
• Mature and professional, with strong interpersonal and coordination skills
