Executive Business Insight

Job Summary

We are seeking a data-driven and analytical Executive, Business Insight to provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.

The Executive, Business Insight will be responsible for analyzing sales, sell-in, sell-out, and financial data to generate actionable insights that support business growth and strategic decision-making. The role will identify business opportunities, performance gaps, and key value drivers while supporting business performance management through integrated reporting, incentive tracking, performance rankings, and data analysis. The position will also collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT teams to improve data transparency and develop automated reporting tools and dashboards that enhance business performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sell-in, sell-out, sales, and financial data to identify growth opportunities, performance gaps, trends, and key business drivers.
• Provide accurate, timely, and actionable business insights to support management and operational decision-making.
• Develop and maintain integrated reports, dashboards, and performance analysis to improve data transparency across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT.
• Build analytical models and evaluate business initiatives to assess their potential and measure business impact.
• Support sales performance management by maintaining incentive tracking, sales rankings, and performance reports.
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and enhance automated reporting tools, dashboards, and data solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and analytical efficiency.
• Translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations for relevant stakeholders.
• Support management with ad-hoc analysis, business reviews, presentations, and strategic projects.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Preferably 2–5 years of relevant working experience in:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large and complex datasets.
• Good understanding of sales performance, financial analysis, and business KPIs.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Power BI, dashboard development, data visualisation, or other analytics tools will be an advantage.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into clear and actionable business recommendations.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
