Executive Chef

We are seeking a Chef with several years’ experience in Kitchen Management/Executive in all areas including, but not limited to menu and restaurant development, fine-dining, high volume production for banquets and restaurants, costing, budgeting and staff management. They will be able to show a level of imagination and light-hearted fun in the menu development. This will be a highly visible position, as the Billings, Montana food and dining scene is driven in a large part by the personality of the people staffing the restaurants. The chef will lead this effort from the front, and will be required to set the example through public contact, and hands on supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
• Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
• Check freshness and quality of ingredients
• Assist in the development of menu items
• Standardize recipes and plate presentations
• Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, and Kitchen Management
• Knowledge of cost and labor systems
• Passion for food and cooking techniques
• Strong leadership qualities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
