Position: Executive Chef

Red Rabbit is looking for an experienced, driven Executive Chef to lead our culinary team.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can run a high-volume kitchen, develop a strong team, maintain excellent food and sanitation standards, and take ownership of the financial and operational performance of the BOH.

Our Executive Chef sets the tone for the kitchen. We’re looking for a leader who is organized, accountable, consistent, and passionate about both great food and great people.

What You’ll Do

As Executive Chef, you’ll have overall responsibility for culinary operations, including:

• Lead all day-to-day BOH operations and execution
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a strong culinary team
• Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, urgency, and hospitality
• Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, portioning, and recipe execution
• Lead high-volume services and remain actively engaged with the team
• Own BOH scheduling, staffing levels, productivity, and labor management
• Manage food cost, purchasing, inventory, waste, and overall cost of goods
• Review financial performance and take action to achieve restaurant goals
• Maintain strong standards for cleanliness, organization, sanitation, and food safety
• Ensure consistent completion of line checks, temperature logs, cooling logs, and other food-safety systems
• Maintain recipe, prep, and production standards
• Partner with FOH leadership to create a seamless guest experience
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, execution, efficiency, and profitability
• Develop Sous Chefs and emerging leaders within the kitchen
• Hold yourself and your team accountable to company and restaurant standards

What We’re Looking For

• Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or strong Sous Chef experience in a high-volume restaurant
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a BOH team
• Strong understanding of food and labor cost management
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
• Ability to set clear expectations and hold standards consistently
• Comfortable analyzing restaurant performance and making operational decisions
• Calm, decisive leadership during busy services
• Strong culinary fundamentals and attention to detail
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• A genuine passion for hospitality, leadership, and developing people

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
