As our Executive Chef, you will take ownership of kitchen operations, from menu creation and food preparation to staff leadership, inventory management, and food cost control. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is passionate about food, brings fresh ideas to the table, and is excited to help grow our brand.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary & Menu Development

  • Create seasonal specials and new menu offerings that enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portion sizes across all dishes.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve menu offerings based on guest feedback, food trends, and profitability.

Kitchen Operations & Management

  • Oversee all daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and timely service.
  • Lead, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
  • Establish and maintain kitchen procedures, recipes, and quality standards.

  • Work closely with front-of-house management to ensure smooth communication and an exceptional dining experience.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Manage food purchasing, vendor relationships, inventory, and supply ordering.
  • Monitor food costs, portion control, labor efficiency, and waste reduction to maintain profitability.
  • Develop cost-effective menus without compromising food quality.
  • Maintain proper inventory rotation, storage procedures, and kitchen organization.

Events & Business Growth

  • Collaborate with management to develop dining concepts, promotions, and special menu offerings.
  • Plan and execute food service for private parties, club events, and special occasions as needed.
  • Contribute creative ideas to enhance the club's food and beverage program.
  • Support the continued growth and reputation of Tee Time Bar & Country Club through culinary excellence and operational leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, Sous Chef, or similar culinary leadership role.
  • Strong experience in American cuisine is highly preferred, including casual dining, upscale American dining, or elevated bar and grill concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop menus, standardize recipes, and maintain consistent food quality.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, inventory management, food purchasing, and food cost control.
  • Experience hiring, training, supervising, and motivating kitchen staff.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and commercial kitchen standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with private events, catering, or country club dining is a plus.
  • Culinary degree or professional culinary training is a plus but not required.

What We're Looking For

Beyond culinary skills and professional experience, we value someone who is:

  • Creative & Passionate: Brings fresh ideas and takes pride in creating memorable dishes.
  • Hands-On & Reliable: Leads by example and actively participates in kitchen operations.
