We are building a new Hong Kong–style Cantonese restaurant in Manila and are looking for an experienced Executive Chef / Culinary Operating Partner to join us from the very beginning.

This is not a typical Employee Chef position.

We are looking for someone who can build and lead the entire kitchen operation from 0 to 1 — from menu development and kitchen planning to building the culinary team, establishing standards, and running day-to-day back-of-house operations.

🦞 Seafood & Classic Cantonese Dishes

🫖 Hong Kong Milk Tea, Coffee & Tea Beverages

YOU WILL LEAD

• Complete menu development

• Kitchen layout, equipment & workflow planning

• Wok / Dim Sum / Siu Mei operations

• Recruitment and management of the kitchen team

• Standard recipes, portions, plating & SOPs

• Food Cost, Inventory & Waste Control

• Purchasing and daily preparation systems

• Pre-opening tastings, training & Mock Service

• Kitchen quality, consistency, hygiene and efficiency after opening

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

✓ Strong Cantonese / Hong Kong culinary background

✓ Experience managing high-volume restaurant kitchens

✓ Pre-opening experience strongly preferred

✓ Strong knowledge of Cantonese wok operations

✓ Practical experience managing Siu Mei and Dim Sum

✓ Capable of building and managing a complete kitchen team

✓ Candidates with an existing culinary team are highly preferred

✓ Strong understanding of food cost and kitchen controls

✓ Willing to build a long-term career in the Philippines

✓ Can speak Chinese
