Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the tendering process according to company procedures.
• Assist in cost checking and cost control activities.
• Process consultants’ and contractors’ claims, including project-related claims.
• Prepare final accounts and budget reports for projects.
• Attend project and site meetings when required.
• Source and evaluate contractors and consultants.
• Compile, evaluate, and update cost analyses and cost plans.
• Prepare Letters of Award for contractors.
• Prepare Letters of Appointment for consultants.
• Evaluate and compile contractors’ and consultants’ performance evaluation forms.
• Check and update construction material rates and contract rates.
• Carry out value engineering to achieve optimum cost efficiency and quality.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Superior.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Proficient in tender documentation, preparation of progress payments, valuation, and final accounts.
• Strong knowledge of construction costing and contract administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Preferably able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
