Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about making sound credit decisions? Join our Credit Assessment Team and play a key role in evaluating customer applications while ensuring compliance with company policies and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct credit screening and contact verification on customer loan applications in accordance with company policies and BNM guidelines.
• Assess and evaluate applications, recommending approval, decline, or cancellation based on established criteria.
• Verify applicant and employer information to ensure accuracy and authenticity.
• Perform financial checks and document verification as required.
• Identify suspicious or fraudulent applications through database checks and investigations.
• Ensure all customer information is accurately captured and updated in the system.
• Assist Team Leader in preparing daily operational reports and supporting process improvements.
• Guide and support junior team members when required.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Experience in credit assessment, credit operations, or a related financial services environment is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• High integrity with the ability to make objective and accurate decisions.
