Executive - Customer Service

About the role

This role involves supporting customer service, shipment coordination, documentation, problem resolution, internal collaboration, and compliance activities within a logistics and shipping operations environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries and provide updates on shipment status
• Assist in handling customer requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in monitoring vessel schedules, cargo arrivals and delivery timelines
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers and other relevant parties
• Assist in preparing and checking import/export documents, such as bills of lading, invoices and packing lists
• Ensure documents are accurate and properly maintained
• Assist in following up on shipment delays, damages or discrepancies
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues and minimise delays
• Work closely with warehouse, customs, finance and other internal teams to support smooth shipment and delivery operations
• Support the Sales/Account Management team with customer and shipment updates

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of import/export documentation, customs procedures and international shipping processes
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge in logistics and shipping operations
