Executive Director

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Executive Director for a highly respected national healthcare nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health outcomes, supporting individuals and families, and creating meaningful community impact. This is a full-time, onsite leadership opportunity based in the Palm Beach/West Palm Beach, FL area.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership for the organization’s local chapter, overseeing fundraising, community engagement, operations, and team performance. This highly visible role will build relationships with donors, corporate partners, volunteers, and community stakeholders while driving sustainable revenue growth and expanding the organization’s reach. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven leader who enjoys being actively involved in fundraising, team development, and community partnership building.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide strategic leadership for the chapter, guiding fundraising, financial, operational, and community engagement goals.
• Lead revenue generation efforts, including major gifts, individual giving, corporate sponsorships, special events, and other fundraising initiatives.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with major donors, volunteers, corporate partners, community leaders, and other key stakeholders.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies to grow revenue, strengthen community engagement, and expand the chapter’s reach.
• Lead, develop, and empower chapter staff while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and results-oriented team culture.
• Oversee chapter budgets, forecasting, performance measurement, organizational compliance, and responsible resource management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated success leading fundraising, development, sales, or other revenue-generating initiatives, including relationship-based fundraising and donor cultivation.
• Experience leading and developing teams, setting goals, and creating accountability around organizational priorities.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage donors, volunteers, corporate partners, and community stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel locally and participate in occasional evening and weekend events, with reliable transportation required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This full-time opportunity offers a salary range of $135,000–$155,000, with final compensation based on experience. The organization offers a comprehensive total rewards package that includes benefits, paid time off, incentive opportunities, and professional development resources.
