Red Oak Senior Living, managed by Next Level Senior Living , is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Executive Director to lead our assisted living community in Canton, Illinois!

About the Opportunity

As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, operations, and performance of Red Oak Senior Living. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by developing a strong team, building relationships with residents and families, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and retain a strong team while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and positivity.
• Resident Experience: Ensure exceptional resident-centered services that promote dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Operations & Compliance: Oversee daily operations, maintain compliance with Illinois assisted living regulations, and ensure survey readiness.
• Financial Management: Manage budgets, staffing expenses, and operational performance.
• Census Development: Drive occupancy growth through community outreach, referral partnerships, tours, and marketing initiatives.
• Quality Improvement: Identify opportunities to strengthen operations, improve resident satisfaction, and enhance overall community performance.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or a related setting.
• Previous Executive Director, Administrator, or senior living leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Illinois assisted living regulations.
• Experience with budgeting, staffing, and operational oversight.
• Proven ability to build teams, develop employees, and drive accountability.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for senior living and a commitment to exceptional resident experiences.
