Executive Director

Full-Time | Reports to the MMDS Board of Directors

Moody Methodist Day School seeks an Executive Director to lead our preschool,

support our staff, and build strong relationships with families. This leader will oversee

educational quality, daily operations, financial performance, and long-term planning

while ensuring a safe, nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the school’s daily operations and advance its mission and strategic goals.
• Guide the administrative and teaching teams, including staff hiring, evaluation,

coaching, and professional development.

• Oversee curriculum and classroom quality to support age-appropriate learning

and meet applicable standards.

• Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with the Business

Manager, monitoring expenses, enrollment, and financial performance.

• Ensure compliance with childcare licensing requirements and oversee school

policies, health, safety, and emergency preparedness.

• Strengthen enrollment and family engagement, addressing parent concerns

promptly and professionally.

• Lead marketing, support fundraising, and build partnerships with churches,

businesses, and community organizations.

• Oversee staffing coverage, facility needs, and operational improvements.
• Keep the Board of Directors and church leadership informed of school

performance, priorities, and progress.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and

meet Texas childcare director qualifications through an approved combination of college

coursework, degree, or director credential and 1–3 years of qualifying childcare

experience. Required experience varies by education and credential pathway.

Documentation is required, and renewable credentials are required to remain current.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
