About the role

High Country K9 is hiring an Executive Dog Bather to work one-on-one with dogs in our fully equipped mobile grooming van.

This is not a salon job. No cages. No stacked doodles. No waiting room chaos. You bathe one dog at a time in a calm driveway setting — including anxious and reactive dogs we specialize in.

Entry-level welcome. We will train the right person.

What you’ll do

• Bathe, rinse, and dry dogs of all sizes and coat types
• Nail trims / grinding, ear cleaning, brush-outs, and basic prep
• Handle dogs safely and calmly (including nervous or reactive dogs)
• Keep the van, tub, tools, and towels clean and sanitary
• Communicate clearly with pet parents about the dog’s condition and the service
• Support the groomer so the day stays on schedule

• Company grooming van (you do not need your own)

• Path to grow into a full groomer if you want it

Who we’re looking for

• Genuine love of dogs and patience with all temperaments
• Reliable, on time, and physically able to stand, bend, and lift
• Comfortable working in a van and driving to appointments (valid driver’s license required)
• Coachable, clean, and drama-free
• Prior bathing or animal-handling experience is a plus — not required

Pay structure

• $1,200 minimum weekly draw
• 100% of tips on top of the draw
• Strong performers typically take home around $1,500 per week

Schedule
Daytime routes, Monday–Friday. No overnight kennel work.
