Executive, Facility Maintenance

About the role

To ensure the Engineering Team plans and executes project and maintenance activities to provide Singapore assets and facilities that enable the Operations team to operate a successful business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop site specific preventive maintenance strategy and oversee execution of preventive maintenance activities to optimize operational availability and efficiency, including all building facilities and equipment including ASRS, refrigeration, warehouse, electrical, MHE, building envelope, fire systems
• Monitor and report compliance with preventive maintenance schedules and checklists across the facility
• Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and propose long-term solutions for equipment reliability
• Manage and coordinate corrective maintenance activities to ensure timely resolution of faults or breakdowns
• Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring safety, quality and cost-effectiveness
• Supervise and guide the execution of building maintenance and improvement projects
• Develop and manage budgets and schedules for maintenance and improvement projects
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the maintenance team, ensuring professional development and optimal performance
• Ensure accurate and comprehensive records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment performance are maintained
• Present detailed reports to management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and proposed action plans

About you

• At least 5 years' experience in maintenance and/or project teams with a demonstrated ability to manage complex project/maintenance operations in a warehouse/logistics or heavy industrial environment, industrial refrigeration system, automated material handling system or ASRS
• Minimum Diploma and above in a related technical field e.g. electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, mechatronic
• Strong knowledge of facility management, equipment maintenance, and safety standards
• Supervisory and team management experience, excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with Technicians, all stakeholders and Senior Executives
• Experience in managing and overseeing contractors
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and an ability and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Project Management and Financial Management skills
