Executive (Finance)

• 7 months contract
• Monday - Thursday: 8.30am to 6.00pm & Fridays: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including processing supplier invoices and payments, issuing customer invoices and credit notes, preparing ageing reports and following up on collections.
• Prepare journal entries for adjustments, accruals and intercompany charges.
• Compile audit schedules and supporting account reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accounting records agree with bank statements.
• Respond promptly to finance-related enquiries and requests from internal teams, external stakeholders, auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Review finance workflows and recommend improvements to streamline processes and enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries and bank reconciliations.
• Relevant accounting or finance operations experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting systems is an advantage.
• Meticulous and organised, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Good communication skills to handle enquiries and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively, manage priorities and meet processing and reporting deadlines.
