Executive, Finance (Company Reporting Team)

About the role

This role serves as a focal point for accounting operations, compliance, and financial reporting across multiple companies. You will manage the full spectrum of accounting records (excluding Accounts Payable), handle intercompany transactions, support regulatory compliance including e-Invoicing, SST, KPKT, and lead financial planning and analysis activities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for accounts operational matters, excluding Accounts Payable (AP)
• Act as the focal point for compliance matters, including e-Invoicing, SST, KPKT, and other regulatory requirements
• Handle intercompany transactions, including processing, reconciliation, and confirmation
• Support ad-hoc projects, including SOP preparation, ERP-related activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain full spectrum accounting records, excluding Accounts Payable (AP)
• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting notes to accounts
• Assist in audit exercises and preparation of Audited Financial Statements (AFS)
• Prepare cash flow statements and supporting schedules
• Perform variance analysis and provide explanations
• Handle tax compliance matters, including tax filing, tax computation, tax schedules, and tax estimates

About you

• Experience in accounting operations and financial reporting
• Knowledge of tax compliance, including tax filing and computation
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) and credit control activities
• Experience with treasury and banking functions
• Capability to support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities
