Executive, Finance (Construction)

Your responsibilities will be:

• Handle day-to-day data entries and maintain proper accounting records including issuance of debit notes, credit note, E-Invoice, checking daywork claim & processing of petty cash claim.
• Assist in closing of accounts and preparation of monthly accounts and financial statements and Audit reports.
• Assist in preparing Flash report, EXCO report, Annual budget and other ad-hoc reporting required internally and externally.
• To ensure all FA Listing, Accruals, Prepayments, Profit Recognized, Subcontractors and Supplier invoices are processed and posted accurately into IFCA system. Resolve any accounting discrepancies and highlight any irregularities.
• Handle full cycle of payment processing including subcontractors & supplier payment.
• Carry out bank and/other reconciliations.
• Ensure application and compliance of internal controls and operating procedures.
• Coordinate and liaise with other departments on all accounting matters and resolve queries / problems that arise.
• Handle audit (internal and external), taxation, statutory and banking matters including liaisons with the internal and external auditors.
• To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.

To be eligible for this role, you will require:

• Degree in Accounting / with professional certificate
• Min 2-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in construction / Property industry
• Able to work independently with multiple priorities and tight deadlines (Initiative & Committed)
• Knowledge of IFCA or MHW is added advantage
