Executive - Financial Reporting

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the month end closing and ensure all the postings are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Take charge of the journals processing and ensure all journals are supported with proper documentation and approvals.
• Ensure the monthly reporting deliverables are accurately prepared and analyzed.
• Ensure the financial affairs are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Responsible for year-end statutory audit & tax filings and ensure timely submission and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions on the month end close activity, in order to obtain information in respect of appropriate adjustments.
• Back up Accounts Payable functions during the absence of the Accounts Payable person in charge of the team.
• Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and filing to support all accounting entries.
• Responsible to group’s request for monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Comply to HDA/authorities requirement including withholding tax and SST (GST if applicable).
• Assist in budget or forecast as assigned from time to time.
• Assist in monthly project meeting slides compilation.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or partial professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years' working experience preferably in Property Development industry.
• Well versed in Microsoft Office and preferably with knowledge in using IFCA system.
• A good team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Committed with strong sense of responsibility and able to work within deadline.
