Executive Housekeeper

Duties

• Lead and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of sanitation and customer satisfaction
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and safety protocols aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Oversee daily operations including industrial cleaning, janitorial services, laundry management, and custodial tasks across all areas of the facility
• Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety regulations, sanitation practices, and management of cleaning equipment
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; coordinate procurement as needed to maintain smooth operations
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards, safety regulations, and sanitation policies
• Foster a positive team environment through effective management communication, leadership development, and recognition of staff achievements

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial management within hospitality or commercial settings
• Extensive knowledge of cleaning methods including industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, and laundry operations
• Strong background in sanitation standards, safety regulations, and hotel cleaning & sanitation management practices
• Demonstrated leadership in team supervision with excellent management skills and the ability to motivate staff
• Experience managing janitorial teams with a focus on customer service excellence and operational efficiency
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and best practices in housekeeper management
• Prior experience overseeing safety procedures related to cleaning equipment and hazardous materials
