Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation efforts across all areas
• Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with company standards
• Implement and monitor cleaning schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks while maintaining safety and sanitation regulations
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety compliance, and adherence to hygiene protocols
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to optimize operational efficiency
• Enforce safety procedures related to industrial cleaning, custodial work, and chemical handling to protect staff and guests
• Collaborate with other departments to address special cleaning requests or event preparations in a professional manner

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping management within hospitality or commercial settings
• Extensive custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques including industrial and commercial cleaning methods
• Demonstrated leadership skills in team supervision and management of janitorial staff or housekeeping teams
• Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and best practices for maintaining hygienic environments
• Experience managing cleaning & sanitation operations in fast-paced environments such as hotels or large facilities
• Strong communication skills for managerial coordination, staff training, and customer service interactions
• Background in laundry operations or hospitality services is highly desirable
