Executive Housekeeper

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks, to ensure consistent quality standards are met.
• Manage and train housekeeping staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on efficiency and professionalism.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and safety procedures aligned with industry best practices.
• Oversee industrial and commercial cleaning projects, ensuring the use of appropriate equipment and environmentally friendly products.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to verify cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations, and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
• Collaborate with management to address guest or client concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service through effective communication.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens; manage procurement processes as needed.
• Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities such as motivation, accountability, and clear managerial communication.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial work, housekeeping management, or janitorial services within hospitality or commercial settings.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with a track record of managing teams effectively.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, safety regulations, and industrial cleaning equipment.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
• Exceptional organizational skills to develop schedules, manage inventories, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest or client inquiries professionally.
• Familiarity with laundry operations and hospitality standards is highly desirable.
• Effective communication skills for managing staff performance and coordinating with other departments.
