Executive Housekeeper

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks across all areas of the facility
• Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure consistent high-quality service and adherence to safety regulations
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality standards aligned with industry best practices in commercial cleaning and sanitation management
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; order replacements as needed to maintain operational efficiency
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards; address any deficiencies promptly
• Collaborate with management to develop budgets, set goals, and improve overall housekeeping processes for optimal customer satisfaction
• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and recognition of staff achievements

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management, with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and safety regulations
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Customer service orientation with a focus on creating welcoming environments for guests or clients
• Experience managing janitorial operations including laundry services and overall custodial maintenance
• Familiarity with management software or systems used for scheduling, inventory control, and reporting in hospitality or custodial settings
• IHG experience strongly preferred
