Executive - HR (Foreign Worker)

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for work permit/employment pass applications, special passes, Check Out Memo (COM), and permit cancellations for foreign workers, including liaison with Immigration Department of Malaysia officers.
• Facilitate FOMEMA arrangements for foreign workers.
• Coordinate the complete onboarding process for newly arrived foreign workers, including pocket money advances, hostel preparation, uniforms, and induction with the Training and Operations teams.
• Coordinate bank account opening and other banking-related matters for new and existing foreign workers.
• Coordinate foreign workers’ return-to-home-country arrangements, including air tickets and transportation from hostel to airport.
• Handle foreign worker accident claims involving government hospitals, JTK, insurance companies, and HQ.
• Liaise with JTK on foreign worker matters, including new arrivals, absconded workers, and termination of employment contracts.
• Coordinate and monitor foreign worker hostel inspections.
• Manage clerical and administrative duties, including documentation, follow-ups, record maintenance, and ensuring all foreign worker records are complete and up to date.
• Handle ad-hoc foreign worker matters, including medical emergencies, hospital or clinic arrangements, death cases, fighting incidents, and other related issues.

Job Specifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience dealing with FOMEMA, Immigration, JTK, and other government agencies in relation to foreign workers will be an added advantage.
• Good personality with a high level of integrity and responsibility.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and manage tasks within deadlines.
