Executive - Inventory Planning & Replenishment

About the role:

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Planner to manage store-wise stock norms, replenishment planning, inventory health, and category-level analytics. The role focuses on determining how much stock each store should hold and when it should be replenished.

Key Responsibilities Replenishment & Allocation Planning

• Maintain store-wise stock norms for the assigned category
• Understand the replenishment logic in use, test proposed rule changes and improve it
• Support seasonal, Festival and promotional planning

Inventory Health

• Hold stock cover and availability within target for the assigned category
• Identify excess, slow-moving and ageing stock; recommend rebalancing or liquidation

Analysis & Reporting

• Analyse sales, stock, sell-through and size-wise performance at category level
• Convert data into a clear, recommended action not just a report

Projects

• Work on inventory planning and supply chain improvement projects
• Use AI tools and advanced Excel to automate recurring analysis and reporting

Candidate Profile

• 2-4 years in inventory planning, demand planning, merchandise planning, replenishment or allocation
• Retail / fashion / apparel preferred; planners from FMCG, e-commerce and pharma are equally welcome
• Graduate in any discipline with strong numerical aptitude; PG in Supply Chain, Operations, Statistics or Business Administration is an advantage
• Advanced Excel — Pivot, XLOOKUP, Power Query, comfortable with large data sets
• Working understanding of replenishment, stock norms, forecasting and sell-through
• Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) for analysis and reporting
