Executive IT Support Engineer- Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Executive IT Support Engineer- Lead to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead advanced IT support for complex enterprise environments, with a strong focus on infrastructure stability, incident resolution, and end-user computing. The position partners closely with architecture and operations teams to strengthen technical standards, improve support processes, and keep critical systems running smoothly. The ideal candidate will bring deep troubleshooting expertise, experience across multiple infrastructure platforms, and the ability to mentor others while driving practical improvements.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $127,310 – $243,340 annually

Responsibilities

• Guide the design of complex IT infrastructure and enforce technical standards
• Lead resolution of complex production issues and troubleshoot end-to-end solutions
• Provide real-time troubleshooting support during major incidents
• Collaborate with architecture leads to define technical requirements and support testing
• Identify and implement process improvements in IT infrastructure management
• Mentor engineers on the design, development, and maintenance of systems
• Participate in industry groups to stay current on trends and share best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
• 8 years of infrastructure experience, including 2 years in Systems Operations or end-user computing
• 6 years of experience with infrastructure components across multiple platforms
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across technology stacks, including endpoint and collaboration tools
• Experience with cloud technologies and automation through scripting or infrastructure-as-code
