Executive Kitchen Manager

Total compensation: $87,000–$90,000 per year

Athens Food Group is hiring an Executive Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen at one of our high-volume pubs in downtown Athens.

This is an operations leadership role. You'll run the kitchen day to day, lead an established team that includes a Sous Chef and Kitchen Supervisors, and hold the standard every shift.

What you'll do

• Run daily kitchen operations: prep, line execution, ticket times, and consistency to spec
• Lead, schedule, train, and develop the kitchen team
• Own ordering, receiving, inventory, and food cost using established recipes and pars
• Manage labor to budget
• Keep food safety, sanitation, and health inspection readiness at a high standard
• Work closely with front-of-house leadership to keep service running smoothly

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of kitchen leadership in high-volume restaurants (Kitchen Manager, Executive Kitchen Manager, Executive Sous Chef, or similar)
• A track record of running a kitchen on systems: inventory, ordering, cost control, and scheduling
• A steady leader who develops people and holds the team accountable
• Values consistency and follows through on standards
• ServSafe Manager certification, or the ability to obtain it
• Experience with POS/KDS and inventory or costing software (Toast and xtraCHEF a plus)
• Based in or commutable to Athens, GA, or willing to relocate

Compensation: $87,000–$90,000 total compensation
