EXECUTIVE LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT SECTION, GROUP HUMAN CAPITAL, CHANCELLERY

KEY ROLES :

• Plan, develop, and implement training and staff development programmes using appropriate learning methodologies, including classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training (OJT), meetings, conferences, and workshops.
• Facilitate training and staff development programmes to support employees’ knowledge, skills, capabilities, and competencies.
• Identify and select suitable training vendors in line with UniKL’s capability and competency development requirements.
• Manage HRD Corp grant applications and claims for training programmes.
• Monitor and ensure training expenditure is utilised effectively and in accordance with the approved budget and HRD allocation.
• Maintain and regularly update records and databases for in-house and external training programmes.
• Prepare and submit training reports and related documentation to Management and relevant stakeholders within the required timelines.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with training consultants, vendors, and relevant public and private sector organisations.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of trainers and subject matter experts according to their areas of expertise for future training requirements.
• Evaluate training vendor performance based on participants’ feedback and programme outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, or any relevant field.
• Professional certification relevant to Training & Development or related functions will be an added advantage.
• Possess at least 3 – 5 years experience in training and development.
• Familiarity with classroom and field-based training methodologies.
• Good understanding of adult learning principles and instructional methods.
• Ability to facilitate engaging and effective learning sessions for diverse groups of participants.
